Customizing and Creating Collections
Customize a Collection
You can customize a collection to tailor it to the topics, time constraints and other characteristics of your class. First, you will need to add a copy of the collection to My Library before you are able to customize it. You can begin editing the collection as soon as it is added to My Library, or you can find the collection later in My Library following these steps:
- Click “My Library” located in the top right corner of any Quest Forward page. This will take you to your list of My Quests & Collections.
- On the My Quests and Collections page, you can toggle between your quests and collections using the tab to the left of the search bar.
- Search for the collection by title, keyword, or using the filters.
- Open the collection by clicking anywhere in the tile for that collection.
- Click “Customize” in the top right corner.
You can now edit the following:
- Collection Overview- Click the information underlined in yellow at the top of the page to edit the collection’s title, section, subject, grade, and description.
- Reading Materials- Click “Reading Materials” underlined in yellow on the left of the page to edit the collection’s reading materials.
- Add a Quest- Click “Add Quests” in the top right corner of a level to add a quest to that level.
- Delete a Quest- Hover over the tile for any quest and click the garbage can icon to remove the quest from the collection.
- Reorder a Quest- Drag and drop quests into a different order in the same level or into a different level.
- Level Title- Click a level title underlined in yellow in the top left corner of a level to edit the level’s title and description.
- Add a Level- Click the plus sign under an existing level to add another level after it.
- Reorder a Level- Click the up and down arrows in the top right corner of a level to move and rearrange that level into a different order.
The following collection fields will populate based on the quests added to the collection:

- Artifacts – This lists any artifacts or work products included in quests added to the collection. To edit an artifact, you will need to edit the quest that includes that artifact.
- Standards – This lists standards that have been added to any quests included in the collection. To add or remove standards, you will need to add or remove them from the quests added to the collection.
- Supplies – This lists supply lists from each quest in the collection. To edit a supply list, you will need to edit it in its original quest.
